This week has been very hectic and hard for me, I started off Monday by playing in my first high school game, and I played the full 80 mins., then after I went to me 90 min practice and to get home and do homework. At least I have Tuesday off, but I had to clean the house, finish more homework, and then again go to soccer. Of course in Ubers, because my parents weren't home. On Wednesday I go to school with my head throbbing and while being really sore and tired. And again have a tpugh and long game, play every minute, get home do homework for as long as I can and again go off to soccer. I'll most likely get home around 10 only to do homework, and only to keep going and keep doing the same routine until Friday. And finally on the weekend I can rest. Just kidding, I kind of forgot what rest is. I have two games, tons of homework, and parties and a social life to keep up with. Due to all of this I haven't been able to even think of practicing my virtues and work on them.

Dear Nicholas,
ReplyDeleteThis week was also very hard for me in terms of homework. I also had a soccer game on Monday and Wednesday, but I came home at around 7 or 8. After finishing all of my homework, I slept at around 11:30. Having after school activities is new for me and now I am beginning to adjust. First of all, I make sure that if/when I have a game the next day, I finish my work the day or weekend before. That way, I won’t have to stay up so late completing the work. I think since you are feeling very tired and sore after many games, you should take a break by not attending a few of them and instead, rest at home. It might not be ideal for you since you are very dedicated to the sport, but through experience, I’ve found out that by resting and relaxing, it can help improve your performance and keep you from being so stressed out.
Hey Oli,
ReplyDeleteI know that this week was hard for you but I think that having weeks like this are just inevitable. We all go through them and we just have to stay strong. Just know that its not going to always be like this, it really does get better. I hope next week is better for you because you really do deserve a break from everything. Good luck with your virtues.- Ana
